For more than 15 years our after sale services of electronics made its presence felt through the exhaustive after-sale market of the Maldives. The growth from a level of servicing of the conservative tape recorder audio systems to the present level of sophisticated hi-fi systems, digital video systems, and cameras was the result of our deep seated vision.
We are the Authorized Service Centre for Sony Electronic products in the Maldives and offer Local and International after sales Service Guarantee. We undertake repair and servicing of all the latest technologically advanced electronic products.

In-house Service

Sony, Bose & Nikon brands accepted. We repair TV set(Bravia, LCD), VCR, VCP, Tape Recorder, Walkman, Discman, IC Recorder, DVP, DVD, MDP, Radio, Camera(Handy, Cyber Shot, Coolpix & DSLR ), Amplifier, Subwoofer, Wave Radio, Wave Radio CD, Speakers.

Home Service
  • Sony brands accepted
  • Limited to Above 29" TV only
  • Model & Serial numbers are needed to process home service requests
  • 50% of the original repair charge will be added for home service
  • Home service available only for Male', Vilingili & Hulhumale' customers
Repair Policy
  • No unit should be taken for repair without Booking Slip. The one (repair certificate)
  • Reefside Electronic Service Center shall charge amount of MRf 100/- for diagnose the item upon registration
  • Once the item is diagnosed, status & estimate will be immediately informed to the customer
  • Customer should agree to the estimated amount to proceed the job
  • To claim the unit after repair customer should present the booking slip
Installation Service
  • Installation - items purchased from Reefside Company & limited for SONY Bravia, Home theatre & BOSE Systems
  • Installation service can be provided for resort customers
Repair Conditions
  • Reefside Electronic Service Centre will not be liable for loss of or damage to any article left to repair which is not claimed by the customer within three calendar months or the receipt for which has been lost or cannot be produced
  • The said article will be delivered to the person presenting the receipt. In the event of collection by another party, proof of identification is needed before the article is issued. Reefside Electronic Service Centre will not be liable for any loss occurring to the customer in the event of delivery been made to an unauthorized person on presenting of the receipt
  • All articles left for repair not claimed by customer with six (6) months may be disposed by Reefside Electronic Service Centre in any way whatsoever and Reefside Electronic Service Centre shall not be liable or responsible to the customer so such articles or for any loss or damage whatsoever in such event
  • Payment Term: Cash & Cash Card

The following units Shall Not be accepted for repair

  • Item without Model & Serial Number
  • Heavily damaged units
  • Phased-out / obsolete models
  • Badly tampered units
  • Heavily rusted and corrosion unit
Service Personnel

We have a very efficient team with more than enough man power needed and our senior technicians are trained by Sony Electronic Company, Singapore, one of the most reputed companies in the service industry. The technical personnel are also backed by their rich experience of around twenty years in the after sales service industry.

The expertise of our personnel has been proved by the confidence reposed by the population of the Maldives in the way they make a bee-line for our service centre for their electronic service requirements

Our service centre is equipped with the necessary machinery and tools need to repair and maintain the latest electronic products available in the market.
